What is SERM
SERM (Search Engine Reputation Management) is the management of reputation in search. The goal is for users to see relevant and positive information about a brand, product, or company.
It's not a "magic button". SERM is a set of systemic actions: content, PR placements, work with platforms, and proper communication.
- SERP analysis: which pages form the impression of the brand.
- Plan to strengthen positive resources (website, profiles, directories, media).
- Mention strategy: where and how the brand appears organically.
How we work with reputation
1) We take a "snapshot" of the search results for brand queries and record problematic URLs (negativity, outdated information, "empty" pages).
2) We form a list of assets that can be strengthened: website, service pages, directory profiles, company cards, media materials, blog articles.
3) We prepare content and publications that answer user questions and address objections.
4) We add mentions and links (crowd/outreach) so that the necessary pages strengthen in search.
Working with reviews — strictly ethical
We do not deal with fake reviews and do not recommend "cheating". This is a risk for the brand and can lead to bans on platforms.
Instead, we build a process for getting real reviews: request scenarios after a purchase/service, responses to negativity, communication templates, improving company profiles.
- Profile optimization (description, photos, categories, FAQ — where applicable).
- Scripts for support and managers: how to politely ask for a review.
- Regulations for responding to reviews and handling complaints.
FAQ
How long does it take to see an effect?
Usually, the first shifts are visible in 4–8 weeks, but it all depends on the competition and the "strength" of the negative pages.
Is it possible to remove a negative page from the internet?
Sometimes — if there are violations of the platform's rules or the law. More often, the task of SERM is to reduce the visibility of negativity and strengthen positive content.
Do you work with search results for different countries?
Yes. The strategy and platforms are selected for the geo and language: UA/EU/US.
